The short version. To make a pickup order you give the restaurant a name and a mobile number. That, and what you ordered, is all we hold. We have no accounts, no passwords, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers of any kind. We never see card numbers. We do not sell or share anything with anybody who is not directly involved in getting your food to the counter.
Integrated Business Solutions builds and runs the online ordering system used by the restaurants listed on this site. This page describes what the system does with information. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive; if anything here is unclear, the address at the bottom reaches a person.
Each restaurant decides what happens with their customers' orders. We hold that information on their behalf and use it only to run their ordering system.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name | So the counter knows whose order it is when you arrive, and who to seat if you ordered ahead to eat in. |
| Your mobile number | To text you when the order is confirmed and when it is ready, and so the restaurant can call if something is wrong with it. |
| What you ordered | To cook it and charge the right amount. |
| Any note you type | It prints on the kitchen ticket. Please do not put anything private in it — a paper copy ends up in a kitchen. |
| The time you ordered | To quote a pickup time and to work out how busy the kitchen is. |
| Whether you are eating in | So the kitchen plates it rather than boxes it, and the counter knows to seat you. |
That is the complete list for an order. There is no account to create, no password, no email address, no address, and no date of birth. We do not ask, so we do not have them.
Some restaurants have a catering link for large orders. That is not an order and nothing is charged — it exists to get the restaurant to ring you back. It asks for four things: roughly how many people, what day, your name and mobile number, and anything you want to tell them. Your number is used to call you about that enquiry and for nothing else.
Whatever you type in the box is passed to the restaurant as you wrote it, so please keep it to the event — it is not the place for medical details. If somebody in your group has an allergy, say so on the phone.
Enquiries sit on the restaurant's counter screen until they have called you. Ask them, or us, and we will remove yours.
Card numbers never reach our system. Where a restaurant takes payment online, the card is handled directly between your browser and the payment company. We are told whether it succeeded and for how much. We never see, store or transmit a card number, and there is nothing on our servers for anybody to steal.
If you have ordered before, your phone remembers your last three orders and the name and number you used, so a regular does not retype everything. That is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us. We have no copy and no way to read it.
There is a Forget me on this device button underneath it on the ordering page. Clearing your browser data removes it too. Your choice of English or Spanish is remembered the same way.
The ordering page sets no cookies at all for customers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media button, no font or script loaded from anywhere else, and nothing that follows you to another website. The page is one file served from one server.
The only cookie in the system is on the restaurant's own staff screens, to remember that a particular tablet has been signed in with the staff code.
We keep no web server access logs, so we do not have a record of who visited or from what address. The one exception: if somebody enters the staff code wrongly several times, we record that address in the system log so the restaurant can see an attempt to get in.
Only where a restaurant uses that feature, and only the part they need:
Each of these is used to carry out the order you placed. None of them is given information for advertising.
On a single server in the United States, reachable only over an encrypted connection. Backups are pulled to private storage; the server itself holds no credentials that would let anyone reach that storage.
Ask the restaurant, or email us at the address below, and tell us the name and mobile number used and roughly when the order was placed. We will remove it from the live system straight away — including from the restaurant's 30-day record. Backups age out on the schedule above and we will tell you when the last copy will have gone.
If you do nothing, the name and number come off by themselves after 30 days. That is the default, not something you have to ask for.
You can clear what your own phone remembers at any time with the Forget me on this device button, without asking anybody.
This is an ordering system for a restaurant and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top. We will not start collecting something new and quietly leave this page as it was.
